What is the Passion of Christ?
By. Meline Ngo
would say it is the period of intense suffering in the life of Jesus from the Garden of Gethsemane, walking to Calvary, to the crucifixion.
But what is really the “Passion of Christ? It is the resolute love of Christ for you and me. His willingness to go to the cross and take the extraordinary pain and suffering and all humiliations, and most of all, to save us all from our sins; the past, present and the future, all upon to himself. Jesus Christ even allowed himself to be separated from his Father, when He bore my sins and yours. He did just that because of His extreme love for us and He desperately wants you and me to be with Him in eternity His Kingdom of Heaven.
Nevertheless, if one person refuses to accept the sacrifices Jesus Christ have done for us, then he or she shall not be redeemed. It is just not possible. Refusal to believe and receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and receive Him in our heart will live us responsible for the sins we have committed against our Father. So that when you die, you will no longer be judged by those sins and be given a sentence. The sentence of death and eternal separation from Jesus Christ and God the Father and will not have a chance to spend eternity in the place of weeping and eternal torment. Hell. This does not have to be the case for anyone! Let us know accept Jesus as our Savior and believed that He has come to redeem us from our sins.Choose to accept. Choose to love. Choose to believe in the Passion of Christ.
Romans 3:23 “For all sinned, and fall short of the Glory of God.” The Passion of Christ is extremely powerful. People have sinned against God by disobeying His commandments. When we committed sin against God, and it separates us from Him for eternity.
But God so love the world and He knew there is only one way to redeem us from all our sins. That is sending His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ here on earth, and live a sinless life and die on the cross. Again, this is how we should see what really Passion of Christ is.
Who are responsible of Christ death? It is not the Romans, the Jews; Gentiles; EVERYONE is responsible for Christ death. Because He was there to save US all FROM OUR SINS…WE All ARE responsible for His death.
Unless one is reborn he cannot see the Kingdom of God. With Christ passion, let us receive Him into our hearts as our Lord and Savior. All this can be done through a simple prayer that you can say right now.
This is the most important decision in your life. Jesus Himself will live inside your heart through His Holy Spirit, and He will not only give you eternal life with Him in heaven, but will give you fulfilled life here on earth.
Through the “Passion of Christ” discover what true love is… because The Passion of Christ is the Love Story between Jesus and Us.”
Here is a prayer that may be of inspiration…
“Father, I disobeyed you and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and I now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me to avoid sinning again. I have believed that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, and now resurrected and is alive, and listen’s to my prayer. Please Jesus, be the Lord of my life, rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. May Your Holy Spirit be my guide for the rest of my life, In Jesus name, Amen.
